Disney have confirmed that Epcot’s international Festival of the holidays will return this year.
Having debuted in 2017 replacing the Holidays around the world, The festival Starts on the 18th November and runs through to 30th December. The Disney parks blog states The Epcot International Festival of the Holidays invites guests to discover holiday cheer throughout the park and across all 11 World Showcase pavilions. Special entertainment, storytellers, seasonal favorites at Holiday Kitchens, and eye-catching holiday decor are all part of the fun. Evenings during this time are topped off with a special holiday presentation of “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth.” With the fabulous ‘holiday ending’ to the fireworks.
Also returning will be the guest favourite Candlelight Processional, a retelling of the traditional Christmas story read by a celebrity narrator, accompanied by a massed choir and live orchestra. This year the shoes will open on Thanksgiving 22nd November and run through to the final day of the festival. Celebrity Narrators and dining packages for the Candlelight Processional will be announced in due course and we will add further updates when we have the information available.
