About Us

Hi and welcome to Watsons Do Disney! We are Robyn and Sy Watson, a 30-something couple from Hampshire, UK. We love to chat about all things Disney. This is where you’ll find many a blog about our favourite tips, highlights and general Disney info.

Our first Disney trip together was to Disneyland Paris in 2008 where Sy proposed on New Year’s Eve at midnight in front of the castle *awww*. Our first trip together to Walt Disney World was for our honeymoon in 2009. This was where the addiction began for Sy (Robyn had been a few times previously).

We are now Disney Vacation Club owners at Animal Kingdom Lodge, the Grand Floridian Villas, Vero Beach and most recently Disney’s Boardwalk resort. We bought into the scheme in 2013 and haven’t looked back, allowing us to stay on property regularly one of the best decisions we have taken!

We have ventured beyond Florida to Disneyland in Anaheim California, to San Francisco to visit the Disney Family Museum and to Disney’s Aulani Resort on the Hawaiian island of Oahu as well as Hong Kong Disneyland. We have also taken to the high seas for adventures on the Disney Cruise Line. We’ve also spent many days in Disneyland Paris as it’s our closest magical getaway.

We spend most of our free time talking about Disney and even started our own facebook group ‘Let’s do Disney’ which we hope will be a great place to gather to chat about all things Disney holidays, Orlando and anything else. We love nothing more than helping other people plan their trips to Disney and Orlando – it’s almost as good as being there yourself.

We love to share our adventures so make sure you follow us to join in the fun on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram @watsonsdodisney

We hope you enjoy our ramblings & thank you for reading!

The Watsons
